GeckoBot is a bot with many different features. It's not possible to say what's the real focus of it. But let me tell you: I program a bot with features that I'm interested in or which I need for my guild management. Then I hope that other players like these features, too. I'm depending on user feedback. I always listen to your ideas and if I want a new feature, too, I'm going to add it to my ideas list (Collection of Ideas for GeckoBot) and eventually make it reality. The bot covers different areas of the game.

I'll try to give a short overview here with links to the detailed pages.

Player profile analysis

One of the most used features of the bot, is the tracking of various stats in the user profile:

Craft management

GeckoBot also has a rich selection of tools to help with crafting gear in a guild or alone as player. Another special feature is that for as many as possible shops, there are contact and channel link added, to have easy access to them, if needed.

  • Craft Lists For Different Stocks (Guild Stock only, Guild Stock + all Guild Member Stocks, or Personal Stock only)
  • who-Search to search for items in guild member stocks (restricted by default to be used only by the guild leader)
  • Craft Refinery - clever filtered /g_stock_res messages to help refining resources and crafting higher resources
  • Craft Helpers in The Guild - Another list of all guild members, but this time sorted by available mana and how high "Blacksmith's wonders" is skilled. This enables to find guild members who can help with preparing crafts for the guild with optimal craft bonus.
  • Guru Search - /gurus is the command to get a list of all commands to show lists of specialized gurus: e.g. /gurus_helmet shows all helmet gurus. Shops are listed in these messages, if they were open in the last week and if they were published to the API.
  • [Shop Info and Tracking] - /ws_shoplink shows detailed shop info
  • Repair Shop Search - /fix and /fix+castle abbreviation (e.g. /fix_m for moonlight) gives lists of open repair shops. Either global or filtered by castle.

Guild Info Overviews

The bot also provides several tools for guild management. General player info, gear info, report reminder and overall guild stat tracking

Drop Times Overviews

GeckoBot has several neat features helping with drop times overviews.

  • /drops: Selection of tier, time and quest location via buttons - returns a list of all items that fit in the selection
  • /current_drops: Gives selection of equipment tier. Returns list of all drops in all quest location at the current in-game time
  • drops t_: The triggers are "drops t2", "drops t3", "drops t4" and "drops t5". Returns a jpeg with an overview of all items of the selected tier and their drop time info
  • Herbs Overview: Exact trigger: "herbs" - gives overview of all herbs, the needed harvest level for them and the times they drop (herbs drop are the same for all quest locations, the only thing that matters is the in-game time and the harvest skill level.

Top Rankings

There are several rankings available, ranking data from all GeckoBot users. Being shown in the lists is optional and the default is "hidden".

  • Attack Value Ranking - Ranking of Attack Value of the profiles. Does not consider crits, aim, taunt etc. Only raw stats.
  • Defense Value Ranking - Ranking of Defense Value of the profiles. Does not consider crits, aim, taunt etc. Only raw stats.
  • PoG-Amount Ranking - Ranking of PoG-Richness
  • Total XP Ranking - Ranking of overall XP of a player. Basically sorted all GeckoBot users by XP.
  • Daily XP Gain Ranking - Daily XP Gain is calculated by the average XP gain of the last week (such a long time frame to make the values very stable). This ranks these calculated values.

Reminder Tools

Personally I'm a bit of a chaotic person and this means I'd sometimes forget to do all arena fights for example. That's why I created reminder functions for some in-game activities.

Triggers and Automatic Replies in GeckoBot

  • Battle Report Rewards - if a chat is registered with /addguildchat and the command /message_report_stickers_on was used, then battle reports sent to this chat with enraged or peacekeeping titles will get a beautiful sticker as reward and token of appreciation that a very powerful player showed his/her report here.
  • Setting Local Triggers - Everyone can set local triggers with /addtrigger. These triggers will fire if the whole trigger text is exactly the message that is sent.
  • Setting Local Wildcard Triggers - Everyone can set local wildcard triggers with /addwildtrigger. Unlike normal triggers, these triggers will activate if the trigger text is anywhere in a message. The trigger text just has to be part of a message to fire the trigger message.
  • Setting Global Triggers - Admin only feature. There are no global wildcard triggers, only regular global triggers.
